Wealth Means Something Different for All of Us
Why investing matters and you can do it however you like
Money is deeply personal.
When I talk with my friends about investing, most of them get a glazed over look in their eyes and try to change the subject. But that’s because we’re taught investing is done one way, with the Bro’s, and you have to follow their advice.
Guess what I’ve learned over the last 20 years of working with investors and business owners? They have all built their wealth in different ways. There are obviously some basic fundamentals, but each of them took a path that was personal to their life experiences and goals. And that is what is left out of the general conversation today.
Why this, why now
I’m launching this space to have a different kind of conversation about wealth and investing. Let’s embrace our different goals and risk tolerances. You might want to invest to your kids’ college fund, buy an airplane, or pay for IVF.
Maybe you want to buy a piece of property in each of your favorite countries, or maybe you’re creating a nest egg so you can retire early and spend time with your family. There isn’t a right or wrong answer to why you want to build wealth; it’s YOUR reason.
The important part is that you have a goal and a way to get there. Often, that way isn’t clearly laid out. As with most life experiences, we start on one path and end up on another. Investing is like a puzzle; it’s composed of many pieces that come together to create a big, beautiful picture of life.
So whether you do (or want to) invest in stocks, crypto, real estate, trading cards, gold, or cars - this is a place for you. To have the conversation about building out the entire picture, creating a well-rounded investing strategy for you, and being able to sleep at night because you know your wealth is working for you. And the best part, we’ll do it all using everyday language, leaving the jargon at the door. Oh, I might slip in some old-timey sayings, because there’s a reason they’ve stood the test of time.
There are a lot of ways to skin a cat.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to investing and wealth building. I’ll talk about most of them, and I’m always open to new ideas. I once witnessed a real estate deal in which they traded a collector car for a rental property. I’ve also seen a crystal chandelier and an RV be used as a down payment for a property.
Let’s create a space where we can discuss different perspectives and experiences in investing. Be open to new and creative ideas, and realize that traditional thinking might not always be the right fit.
Weekly Updates
I’ll be posting weekly with a different topic and perspective each week. Sometimes it’ll be deep dives into a real estate deal, and others might be the new crypto app I’m checking out. Subscribers will also have access to exclusive content, as well as quarterly live Q&A calls with Amelia. If you’d like to join as a founding member, you get an exclusive 1:1 with Amelia to discuss your personal wealth questions.
I welcome you to join the conversation about investing and wealth building. We all work hard for our money, now, let’s get it working hard for us.

Looking forward to this conversation. Money is very personal and I love learning different and creative ways of investing.
